SCHBA Home & Lifestyle Show

After years of steady tradition and community support, the Sheboygan County Home Builders Association is ushering in a new era for its signature annual event. The long‑running Home Expo has been reimagined, expanded, and elevated into the newly branded Home & Lifestyle Show, proudly sponsored by Drexel Building Supply. The refreshed event will take place February 12–14 at its new home, Blue Harbor Resort, marking a major shift from its previous location at the Blue Line Ice Center.
Organizers say the changes reflect both the evolving needs of the community and the association’s renewed commitment to offering something for everyone.
“This isn’t just a home show anymore,” said event organizers. “It’s a lifestyle experience—something that speaks to homeowners, families, pet lovers, and anyone looking to connect with local businesses.”
A Broader, More Inclusive Event
While home improvement remains a core focus, the revitalized show expands far beyond remodeling and construction. Attendees will find vendors representing everyday essentials, wellness, décor, jewelry, local services, and more. The goal is to create a one‑stop destination where residents can explore practical solutions, discover new ideas, and engage with local experts.
The move to Blue Harbor Resort provides a fresh, inviting atmosphere with more space, improved accessibility, and a scenic backdrop that elevates the entire experience.
Three Days, Three Themes
Each day of the Home & Lifestyle Show brings its own unique flavor:
• Thursday, February 12 — Opening Night Social - 5:00-8:00pm
The show kicks off with a relaxed evening atmosphere featuring a cash bar and hors d’oeuvres. It’s designed as a networking‑friendly night where attendees can mingle with vendors, builders, and community members in a warm, welcoming setting.
• Friday, February 13 — Community & Compassion Day - 12:00-7:00pm
In a new partnership, the Sheboygan County Humane Society will join the event, bringing awareness to pet adoption, animal care, and community support. Visitors can expect interactive opportunities and heartwarming moments as the show highlights the importance of caring for our four‑legged neighbors.
• Saturday, February 14 — Family Fun Day - 10:00am-4:00pm
The final day is dedicated to families - with activities, coloring contest and hands‑on experiences designed to make the show enjoyable for all ages including our new "Wigg Brother's Little Builder" area. From crafts to demonstrations, Saturday aims to create memories while inspiring future home and lifestyle ideas...and also a special guest appearance will be available for photos from 10:00-2:00.
A Fresh Start for a Community Tradition
The revitalized Home & Lifestyle Show represents more than a name change—it’s a strategic step forward for the association and the community it serves. With expanded offerings, a new venue, and a renewed sense of energy, organizers hope to draw both longtime attendees and first‑time visitors.
“This is the beginning of a new chapter,” the association shared. “We’re excited to bring people together in a way that feels modern, meaningful, and fun. The new partnership with Blue Harbor is exciting and we encourage event attendees to also visit the new art exhibit at the resort. We would like to thank our sponsors for helping our new show come to life: Drexel Building Supply, Zimmermann Printing, Turtle Creek Homes, Lighting by Luke, United One Credit Union and Wrightway Home Improvements” says Executive Director, Dana Dunton.
The Home & Lifestyle Show is open to the public. For residents looking to refresh their homes, explore new services, or simply enjoy a weekend of community connection, the event promises something for everyone.
